As part of her current residency ‘Living Lab’ for the Atlas Broadreach project at Taigh Chearsabhagh Sharon will present new sonic contour drawings. Based on historic shipping maps and sound recordings made at the Udal Peninsula and with Donald ‘The Box’ at the Craigard Centre Lochmaddy, these reverberating drawings echo the intricate and unique topography and soundscapes of North Uist.  This weekend 30/31st August.

Robert Baldock will respond to the Sharon’s sonic contour drawings, creating a soundscape using field recordings captured above and below the waves of North Uist and North Berwick'.  This Sunday 31^st September, 2-3pm.
